BOARD EFFECTIVENESS
The challenges faced by Boards are significant. With responsibility for both driving the business forward, and keeping it under prudent control, it’s vital that Board members are aligned behind a clear vision and strategy, and operate as a high performing team. With diversity of membership a recognised contributor to a Board’s effectiveness, it’s vital that the differing backgrounds, specialisms and motivations within the team are appreciated and leveraged. Investing in the development of the Board as a team is crucial to ensuring the rewards of creativity and high quality decision-making are reaped, with the risk of politics or groupthink minimised.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
We work with Boards to build team cohesiveness and develop the Board VISTA. We support the building of the vision, strategy and delivery of the implementation plan. This often includes the succession plan.
